practical tools for managing emotions, stress and relationships
Next Group starts 12 March 2026
About DBT groups
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based therapy that helps people understand and manage intense emotions more effectively.
DBT Skills Groups are structured, supportive sessions that teach practical tools for coping with stress, regulating emotions, improving relationships, and building resilience.
-
This is skills-based work — not group therapy.
-
You are not required to share personal issues or past trauma.
-
Groups are generally comprised of min 4 and max 10 people.
-
The groups are facilitated by an experienced and qualified psychologist trained in DBT.

Who should attend?
We offer in person or online groups for teens and adults. The groups are designed to improve interpersonal skills, manage and tolerate emotions more effectively, develop self-confidence, and find more joy in everyday moments.
