About DBT groups

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based therapy that helps people understand and manage intense emotions more effectively.

DBT Skills Groups are structured, supportive sessions that teach practical tools for coping with stress, regulating emotions, improving relationships, and building resilience.

  • This is skills-based work — not group therapy.

  • You are not required to share personal issues or past trauma.

  • Groups are generally comprised of min 4 and max 10 people.

  • The groups are facilitated by  an experienced and qualified psychologist trained in DBT.
