Therapeutic Approach
Finding Balance in the ebb and flow

My Approach
- The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are -
Carl Jung
Over the years I have trained and practiced in a variety of approaches and modalities, but at the core I start by focusing on the needs of my clients. Each pathway is different and I respect that each individual should be given the opportunity to be their authentic self.

If I were to describe my approach in a nutshell, it would be to start with connection. I want to first take time to get to know you, to be curious about your journey and find out what brings you joy, what makes you stuck, what are your hopes, dreams and aspirations, and what do you need.

Some people need to go back in time and explore past hurts and relationships to find peace, resolutions or closure. Other people may need to develop skills to manage big emotions, tolerate distress and understand and fit into the often complex workings of our social system. Others may need help to process painful and traumatic events to restore a sense of safety, balance and peace to their world.

In my practice, I work primarily with teens, young adults, and individuals navigating transition or feeling stuck. I often draw on the principles of Ikigai to help clients reconnect with purpose, rediscover joy, and make sense of where they are—and where they want to go.
